My brother Andrew Rettig died in a single-person motorcycle accident on May 30th, 2008. Andrew was an adventurer at heart, with plans to travel around the country and eventually around the world.
We cremated Andrew in the hopes that the people that he knew would consent to scatter his ashes as they traveled. This blog is a way for people to connect with each other and see where others have taken him.

This is a wonderful project. When I last talked to Andy he told me all about his travel plans and he was so excited for me that I was going to backpack some of central Europe. I was in Slovenia when he had his accident and in a restaurant in Prague when I found out... I was shocked. It made me appreciate my trip so much more and try my best to gain all that I could from it. I know he'd be psyched about all the amazing things I did, and I'd like to feel that in some way I shared them with him.
